Poirier, who followed them for almost a year and a half, right from the start of the project, Laure Meriaud – Ateliers 2/3/4/ and Cécilia Gross – VenhoevenCS architecture+urbanism, the architects responsible for the project co-designed by the two agencies, talk frankly and movingly about the genesis of this extraordinary adventure.

From the guiding principles that led to this project, with its innovative and sustainable design inspired by nature, to the technical challenges that the teams had to overcome, sometimes from a distance, these exchanges shed light on the working process and the role of the architect in the creation of a sustainable city.

More than a profession, it’s a calling and a commitment to the area and its inhabitants, which calls for ambitious proposals that are carried out with conviction, consistancy and resilience.
