Winner – Development of the coastal fringe, Schoelcher, Martinique

We are proud to announce that our agency has won the tender to assist the town of Schoelcher, in Martinique, with the overall development of its coastal fringe.

Ateliers 2/3/4/ will be working with the town as landscape planners on the urban study of the coastline’s future and its development in the face of climate change. This will provide an opportunity to continue the planning process, taking into account the natural risks to coastal areas.

The project began on site during the week of 17 July, much to the delight of the project team (Florian Luneau, Laura Maziere). They were able to begin this immersive phase by a survey of the area using various means of transport, including a visit to the sea, which gave them an overall vision of the area. They also met the town”s various departments and local stakeholders during thematic workshops that were held on this occasion.

Once again, we would like to thank the town of Schoelcher and its partners, in particular the DEAL and the 50 Pas Géométriques agency, for their hospitality and trust.
