The Olympic Aquatics Center wins the Prix Versailles

Another award for the Olympic Aquatic Centre!

One of the 6 most beautiful sports facilities in the world selected by the Prix Versailles, the Olympic Aquatic Centre was awarded the Mention for Best Exterior on December 2, 2024 at UNESCO headquarters in Paris.

The jury, chaired by Benjamin Millepied and made up of leading figures from the world of culture and architects Daniel Libeskind, David Adjaye, Sou Foujimoto and Wang Shu, recognized “its sculptural wooden envelope, whose stretched roof is a world first”.
